According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that aims to make missed calls more noticeable. This new addition is a “Call back” button that appears within an event message when a call goes unanswered, and it is available after installing one of the latest versions of WhatsApp beta for Windows from the Microsoft Store.
WABetaInfo also shared a screenshot of the feature. As per the screenshot, the ‘Call back’ button will appear next to the event message generated when a call is missed on WhatsApp. This button provides users with a quick way to return a missed call with just a single tap.

As mentioned above, the call back feature is presently available only for beta testers and it is soon expected to roll out for all users.
WhatsApp channels now available in India
WhatsApp has recently launched the Channels feature in India. This feature allows administrators to send one-way broadcasts to users, including text, photos, videos, stickers, and polls. Additionally, WhatsApp is actively developing a searchable directory to facilitate the exploration of channels aligned with users’ interests, such as hobbies, sports teams, and local official updates. The directory aims to enhance user convenience by simplifying the process of discovering and following channels of interest. To join a specific WhatsApp Channel, users can easily click on invite links shared in chats, emails, or posted online.
