NEW DELHI: A blockbuster clash is expected when Seattle Orcas take on MI New York in the final of the Major League Cricket at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on Sunday.

Both Seattle Orcas and MI New York defeated Texas Super Kings in the playoffs to reach the final.
Led by Wayne Parnell, Seattle Orcas beat Texas Super Kings in the Qualifier, while Nicholas Pooran-led MI New York defeated Texas Super Kings in the Challenger.

Quinton de Kock hit an unbeaten 88 as Seattle Orcas beat Texas Super Kings by 9 wickets to become the first team to reach the final on Thursday.
Batting first after winning the toss, the Texas Super Kings innings never got going as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals.
Andrew Tye took 3 wickets and Imad Wasim’s double blow at the start prevented the Texas Super Kings from getting off to a good start.
Daniel Sams top scored for the Texas Super Kings with an unbeaten 25-ball 26 but he hardly got any support from the others as they were restricted to 126/9.

Seattle Orcas raced to the 127-run target riding on Quinton de Kock’s unbeaten 88 that was powered by 4 sixes and 10 fours and came off just 50 balls.
Though Seattle Orcas lost opener Nauman Anwar in the second over, an unbeaten 117-run stand between Quinton de Kock and Shehan Jayasuriya for the second wicket took the team safely through to the final.
Trent Boult took four wickets to set up an emphatic six-wicket victory for MI New York against Texas Super Kings on Friday.
Boult’s 4/24 enabled MI New York to bowl out Texas Super Kings for 158 in their 20 overs. MI New York chased down the target with six wickets in hand and an over to spare.

Put into bat, Boult removed Texas Super Kings skipper Faf du Plessis and Mitchell Santner in his second over – the third of the match.
Devon Conway (38) and Milind Kumar (37) tried their best to accelerate the Texas Super Kings innings but fell in the quest of quick runs.
Tim David was hit for a six and bowled 5 wides in the last over but he also took two wickets as the Texas Super Kings folded for 158.
MI New York stuttered in the run chase but Shayan Jahangir (36) captain Nicholas Pooran (23) set up the platform.
Dewald Brevis smashed an unbeaten 41 but it was Tim David, who brought MI New York back in the game by hitting a 20-ball 33 – a knock that was studded with 4 sixes.
