While audiences were eagerly waiting to see the intense chemistry between Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, the theatre goers were merely surprised to see another love story in the recently released Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The intense romance between yesteryear actors Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi has become one of the most memorable points of the film, especially their kiss. And after Shabana’s husband Javed Akhtar reacted to it, it is time for Dharmendra’s dream girl aka Hema Malini who opened up about the scene.

From Karan Johar to Dharmendra, everyone opened up about the kiss scene in the recently held press conference of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. When Hema Malini was asked about her reaction to the scene, the actress told Times Now, “I have not seen it,” but she went on to add, “I am sure people have loved the film. I am so happy for Dharam ji, because he loves to be in front of the camera all the time. He loves it.”

For the unversed, Dharmendra is seen playing the role of Ranveer’s grandfather whereas Shabana Azmi essayed the role of Alia’s grandmother in the movie. The film also stars Jaya Bachchan as Dharmendra’s wife.

Speaking of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the film has been garnering much love from the industry and audiences alike. The love story is set against the backdrop of two affluential but diverse families as Rocky and Rani belong to a Punjabi and Bengali family respectively. The film traces the journey of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the two try to keep their love story afloat amid cultural differences and a tragic past. Returning to direction after seven years is Karan Johar with this film, which hit the theatres on July 28.
