Nothing is launching a new sub-brand called ‘CMF by Nothing’ in India on September 26. The company has confirmed the first set of products, which includes three accessories, namely the CMF by Nothing Buds Pro, Watch Pro, and Power 65W GaN charger.
These three products will be available for pre-order on Flipkart starting from 12PM on September 25, a day before the official launch. The company announced that customers who pre-order the devices will receive a Rs 500 discount voucher that can be redeemed on Nothing or CMF product purchases.
The upcoming CMF Watch Pro will have a 1.96-inch rectangular AMOLED screen that boasts a brightness level of over 600 nits. Rumours have it that the smartwatch would also support Bluetooth calling. Meanwhile, the CMF Buds Pro will be equipped with active noise cancellation technology that can reduce noise by up to 45dB, with additional dampening in the 5,000Hz range. The charger for these devices will come with two USB-C ports and one Type-A port.
The company stated that the products will be available on Flipkart and Myntra online and in select stores, including Vijay Sales.
Rumours have it that the CMF by Nothing Watch Pro could be priced at Rs 4,500, while the Buds Pro could come with a price tag of Rs 3,500, and the 65W GaN charger might cost Rs 3,000.
Pei recently announced the launch of CMF by Nothing, a new sub-brand that aims to provide accessible products with better design. In a community update posted on YouTube, Pei stated that the value segment lacks exciting devices, and CMF by Nothing will fill that gap with a design-led organisation.
Nothing will focus on high-quality, premium products, while CMF by Nothing will offer more affordable options to attract a wider audience. The two will function as separate brands.
