Airtel services appears to be down for some users across the country. Several users have reported facing issues with the network on X (formerly Twitter) as well as on DownDetector, a platform that keeps track of status for apps, services and websites.
Airtel mobile network and broadband are down
On DownDetector, users have reported that they are facing issues with Mobile Internet as well as Landline Internet.Some users have also reported that thet are facing issues with signal.
The issue as per the report, started 4:18pm today and the outage appears to continue till now. Around 46% users are facing problems while accessing the internet via their smartphone using Airtel mobile network and around 36% people have reported issues with landline internet connection.
Users on X have also posted the same. A users wrote, “Looks like #Airtel Fiber is down.It seems like a wide issue and not local, can anyone else confirm?”
Airtel hasn’t responded to the ongoing outage as of now. So, we have no way to know what has gone wrong with the Airtel services. The only thing Airtel has responded with is this messages, “We are here to assist you Rohan, we apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. Further, we would request you kindly share your DSL ID with us via DM.” to those who have raised the issue on X.
However, it is worth mentioning that TOI Tech team checked for the issue and it looks like none of us are facing any issues while accessing the internet via our smartphones.
