India’s middle order impressed with the likes of Jitesh Sharma scoring 31 runs in 20 deliveries and Rinku Singh scoring a quick-fire 16 to help India cross the line.
The 2nd T20I will witness Virat Kohli making a comeback to the shortest format of the game after 14 months. The star batter missed the 1st T20I in Mohali due to personal reasons. However, on January 13, Saturday, Kohli joined the Indian team in Indore.
As the Holkar Stadium prepares to host the 2nd T20I, a hazy evening will welcome the 2 sides on January 14, Sunday. Rain isn’t expected to play spoilsport during the match.
