A day ago, it was reported that Aamir Khan hosted a special get-together yesterday for the cast and team of Laal Singh Chaddha. The event marked a significant moment as the film, directed by Advait Chandan, found its well-deserved success on various OTT platforms. The film was released on August 11, 2022 and received mixed responses from the audience. The box office was unimpressive as well. However, the film sort of found its audience on the digital platform.

The reunion party saw Khan croon two of the beautiful songs from the album ‘Tere Hawaale’ and ‘Kahani’. In the first clip, Aamir is seen joining Shilpa Rao and Amitabh Bhattacharya as they croon ‘Tere Hawaale,’ which was massively loved by the audiences. In another clip, the actor is seen singing ‘Kahani’ with Amitabh.

Starring Aamir Khan in the lead role, the film follows the life journey of Laal Singh Chaddha, who is a simple-minded but kind-hearted man with a low IQ. From his childhood in the 1970s to the present day, the film traverses through various historical events, societal changes, and personal experiences that shape Laal Singh Chaddha’s life. Amidst his journey, Laal Singh Chaddha encounters and interacts with several influential personalities and witnesses significant moments in Indian history. These encounters and events not only shaped his character but also provided a reflection of the changing socio-political landscape of the country.

Adapted from Forrest Gump, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya among others.
