Acer Predator Helios gaming laptops: Price and availability
The 16-inch Predator Helios (PH16-71) gaming laptop will be available in North America in March starting at $1,649.99. Meanwhile, it will available in Europe and China in February, with a price tag of 2,399 euros and 17,999 yuan, respectively.
While the 18-inch Predator Helios (PH18-71) gaming laptop will be available in North America in April, starting at $1,699. This laptop will be available in Europe and China in March and February at 2,499 euros and 20,999 yuan.
Acer Predator gaming monitors: Price and availability
The Predator X45 gaming monitor will be available in North America and Europe in Q2 2023 starting at $1,699 and 1,799 euros, respectively. Meanwhile, the gaming monitor will go on sale in China in Q1, 2023 starting at 12,999 yuan.
Apart from this, the Acer Predator X27U will be available in North America and Europe in Q2, 2023 starting at $1,099 and 1,099 euros, respectively. On the other hand, the gaming monitor will go on sale in China in Q1, 2023 with a price tag of 7,999 yuan.
Acer Predator Helios gaming laptops: Specs and other features
Both 16-inch and 18-inch Predator Helios laptops have a new design and upgraded thermals. Both these models include 13th gen Intel core i9 or i7 HX processors paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU (MGP up to 165W) and several important gaming features. The laptops also support boosted performance with ray tracing, high-quality frames with DLSS
3 and Reflex’s optimised system latency. The CPU and GPU are backed by up to 32GB DDR5-
4800 MHz RAM and up to 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD.
The 16-inch and 18-inch variants offer WQXGA (2560×1600 pixels) resolution at 165Hz or 240Hz (250Hz for a Mini-LED panel). The display is powered by AUO AmLED technology that supports over 1000 nits of peak brightness.
For thermal management, these laptops support 5th-gen AeroBlade 3D metal fans and vector
heat pipes. Meanwhile, laptops are also equipped with Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, including an HDMI 2.1, two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports and a microSD card reader.
Acer Predator X45 and X27U gaming monitors: Specs and other features
Both the latest Acer Predator gaming monitors sport OLED displays. The 45-inch Predator X45 is an 800R curved monitor that has a narrow frame and supports UWQHD (3440×1440 pixels) resolution. Meanwhile, Predator X27U’s flat 27-inch panel supports WQHD (2560×1440 pixels) resolution. Both monitors also support a peak brightness of 1000 nits and HDR10 capabilities. The gaming hardware also offers 240 Hz refresh rates, 0.01 ms pixel response time and AMD FreeSync Premium technology.
These latest monitors are also equipped with a KVM switch that allows users to effortlessly switch between desktops and laptops without having to change the keyboard and mouse. Moreover, they also support a USB hub with USB Type-C ports for other gadgets and peripherals. For connectivity, the monitors also support DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports. These monitors are TUV Rheinland EyeSafe certified and also support both PCs and consoles.
