Actor Ajay Devgn started 2022 with a brief cameo appearance in Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi. He went on to make his web series debut as well this year and even had one of the biggest successes of his career in the form of Drishyam 2, which has continued to rock the box office weeks after its release. Looking at the response Ajay has received this year it is safe to say that he had quite an eventful year. While his projects entertained the audience, his interaction with the media revealed many lesser-known things about him. Ajay Devgn confesses he wants to remake Phool Aur Kaante; talks about recreating the bike split

Yes! During the promotion of his latest release, Drishyam 2, Ajay Devgn had confessed that he wants someone to do the remake of his 1991 release, Phool Aur Kaante. It all happened, when he appeared in RJ Malishka’s radio show at Red FM. During his chit-chat, the RJ asked – which, according to him, is a remake-able film.

The Bollywood actor responded, “I would like somebody to remake Phool Aur Kaante.” On this, his Drishyam co-star Shriya Saran asserted, “Yeah? Must be difficult to do that.” On the other hand, the RJ asked him – if he will be able to do the split, which he did for his entry shot in the film.

The De De Pyaar De actor said, “I would need a little practice. In a month and a half, I can try to do it.” His answer left both Malishka and Shriya.

For the unversed, in Phool Aur Kaante, Ajay did a split on two bikes for his entry sequence. Soon after the release of the film, many praised him for the same, and it went on to become his signature entry shot in a handful of his films. However, each entry had a twist. For example, in the Golmaal series, he did it with cars while in Son Of Sardaar he did it on a pair of horses.
