While her professional career flourished in 2022, actress Alia Bhatt also made headlines for her personal life. After tying the knot with long-time beau Ranbir Kapoor in April, Alia embraced motherhood in November last year. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Alia Bhatt’s mom Soni Razdan dropped an adorable photo of the actress from her pregnancy days.

For the unversed, on March 20 this year, the UK is celebrating Mother’s Day. To mark the occasion, as it is Alia’s first Mother’s Day after the birth of her daughter Raha Kapoor, Soni extended wishes. She took to her verified social media handle and shared Alia’s unseen photo from her pregnancy days. The caption of the photo read, “With every child is born a mother…Happy Mother’s Day.”

Speaking of the throwback photo, the Gangubai Kathiwadi actress is seen in a pink anarkali salwar suit. To pose for the click, Alia cradled her baby bump while lazing over a couch and smiled wide. The photo was clicked in the well-lit corner of Alia’s house.

Not only mother Soni, but Alia’s elder sister Shaheen Bhatt also dedicated a post to the Highway actress. The photo feature the Bhatt sisters and is clicked during Alia’s baby shower. “Mama’s Day,” read her caption. Reacting to the post, Alia commented, “Sweetie.” On the other hand, a section of netizens also reacted to the post. While a user wrote “Beautiful mumma,” another called her “prettiest mamma.”

Coming to the professional front, the 30-year-old actress was last seen in Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it was released on September 9 in 2022. She will be next seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Besides this, she will also make her Hollywood debut with the Gal Gadot starrer Heart Of Stone, which will be arriving on Netflix on August 11, 2023.
