Apple finally launched its new Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 along with the iPhone 15 series on September 12 in California. After the launch the company has revealed the launch date for WatchOS 10 — the latest version of its watchOS operating system.
Apple has confirmed that watchOS 10 will roll out for all the users on September 18. All the eligible Apple Watch models will receive the update watchOS update on the same date.

Apple first unveiled the watchOS 10 operating system at its annual developer conference WWDC 2023 in June this year. With watchOS 10, users can conveniently access crucial information directly on specific watch faces by simply rotating the digital crown button. Apple is also expanding the availability of widgets, including those tailored for podcasts and stopwatch functionalities. Furthermore, both the world clock app and the activity app have undergone a fresh redesign, enhancing the visual appeal and user experience of these applications. Additionally, developers now have the creative freedom to imbue their apps with a new design aesthetic.
Notably, Apple Watch apps like Weather, Stocks, Home, Maps, Messages, World Clock, and others have been optimised to make better use of the larger portion of the Apple Watch display, enabling users to quickly grasp essential information at a glance. Moreover, the Activity app on Apple Watch and the Fitness app on iPhone have received substantial enhancements, simplifying the tracking of daily activity with additional details. These improvements encompass better sharing options, a revamped trophy case, and valuable insights from Apple Fitness+ trainers.
