Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie arrived with a bang on its opening day on April 11, which was Eid, by amassing Rs. 16.07 crores.

Although the film saw a fall in numbers the next day, it was because of it being a working day. But the following day on Saturday, the numbers for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan saw a rise with Rs. 7.50 crores being earned. There was some jump on Sunday as well as the film made Rs. 8 crores. With its current total being Rs. 38.07 crores, it is considerably high than the film it clashed with – Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan.

The sports drama, based on the life of India’s celebrated football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, opened at Rs. 5 crores on April 11 after earning Rs. 2.50 crores in the paid previews.
