The support for Google Lens within Chrome on iOS will make searching for objects such as plants and clothing much easier, perform real-time translations, and more. Instead of having to use a separate Google app, you can use the Lens icon in the Chrome address bar on iOS devices to access existing or new photos for search purposes.
Chrome has integrated AI technology that can identify addresses on web pages. Press and hold a detected address to view it on a mini Google Maps within Chrome, eliminating the need to switch to a separate maps app.
Google has improved Chrome’s ability to detect languages, making web page translations more convenient. If you come across a website in a foreign language, Chrome will offer to translate it into your chosen language. Moreover, you can now use Google Translate within Chrome on your iOS device to translate specific parts of a webpage.
Chrome allows iOS users to create Google Calendar events within the browser easily. Users just need to press and hold a date to add it to their calendars. Chrome will automatically generate the event with all the necessary information, including time, location, and description.
Google recently introduced Chrome Actions, which are text-based shortcuts for popular browser tasks such as clearing browsing data and checking settings. In addition, the company has been testing its own web engine for Chrome on iOS, pending any changes in Apple‘s app policies.
