Former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni celebrated New Year with his family in Dubai. Dhoni’s wife Sakshi took to Instagram to share a video in which Mahendra Singh Dhoni can be seen enjoying fireworks with daughter Ziva, while they celebrate new year in Dubai. Apart from Sakshi, IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) too shared the same video. MS Dhoni has been staying in Dubai for the last few days, he also celebrated Christmas there.

Team India will aim to start 2023 with a bang. The Men in Blue are scheduled to play a T20 series against Sri Lanka, starting from 3rd January. Notably, senior players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are not a part of IND vs SL T20 series. India also has to play a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, in which senior players will return. 

Team India is one of the busiest teams in the sport and will soon return to action as soon as 2023 starts. Next Year, team India’s focus will be on World Test Championships final and ODI World Cup 2023. The white-ball ICC tournament will be hosted in India. For India to qualify for WTC Finals in 2023, they must beat mighty Australia in the Border Gavaskar Series.
