In recent months, major players in the tech industry such as Google, Amazon, and Microsoft have experienced layoffs, contributing to a challenging job market. Nevertheless, in the midst of this trend of downsizing, Hexaware Technologies, an Indian IT company, has adopted a unique strategy by announcing its intentions to recruit approximately 6,000 employees.
The Mumbai-based Hexaware Technologies is planning to hire 6000 professionals and it has also posted 419 job openings on LinkedIn. The job posting also reveals that the company is hiring people for the Noida and Mumbai locations.
A report by Moneycontrol also revealed that Hexaware Technologies will hire these 6000 professionals in the current calendar year and digital engineering, app development, and cloud infrastructure will be the key focus areas.
“There is so much volatility in the market and most companies aren’t hiring. We are standing apart where we are still hiring and in decent numbers. The fact that the brand is recognised in the market, candidates think they should not lose the offer and they’re coming on board,” Senthil Nayagam K, EVP of global revenue assurance and chief learning officer at Hexaware Technologies told Moneycontrol.
Presently, Hexaware Technologies has more than 28,000 employees.
