Microsoft has been leveraging its GPT-4 powered chatbot — Copilot as the key highlight of the Windows operating system. The company has ensured that every corner of the operating system gets the Copilot integration in some form. Microsoft has even introduced a dedicated keyboard button for Copilot.
All these things are aimed at Windows and there’s no dedicated app or integration available for macOS.But that does not mean, you can’t get one on your Mac device.
Here we will tell you three simple ways you can use to get a dedicated Copilot app on your Mac device.
Use Copilot on web browser
Microsoft has made the Copilot available on Chrome and has integrated deeply into Edge browser. So, you can either use Edge to get an integrated experience or use copilot’s website to access it from Chrome.
Use Copilot web app
Use Safari to access the Copilot website and install the progressive web app of the Copilot on your Mac. Once the app is installed, you can use it like a regular app on the Mac.
Get iPad version of Copilot app on Mac
While the above two methods appears like a compromise or workaround to access Copilot on Mac, this method is a full-on first-party solution. Considering Apple allows users to use some of the iPad apps on the Mac, you can download the Copilot app from Apple App Store and start using it.
For this open Apple App Store and then head to search bar and type Copilot
Hit “Get” button and authenticate the download with the password or Touch ID.
Once the app is installed, open it and start asking the questions.
Do note that this is the iPad version of the app and not the Mac app. So, there can be some issues with it.
