Earlier this year, WhatsApp introduced a new feature called “Chat Lock” that lets users lock their chats behind a passcode. Now, WhatsApp has implemented the “Secret Code” feature, which provides an additional layer of protection for chats that makes it more difficult for others to access your conversations, particularly if they gain access to your phone or if you share your phone with someone else.
Users can set a unique password for their locked chats, providing extra security. The chats hidden in the Locked Chats folder will only be discoverable only by entering a secret code.
