“Captain Rohit Sharma has not taken the field on Day 3 due to a stiff back,” the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in an official update on March 9 (Saturday).

The BCCI has not disclosed specific details regarding the severity of Rohit’s injury or the anticipated time frame for his return to the field, if he does return at all.
