Tilak Varma dance viral video: Team India’s talented youngster Tilak Varma’s brilliant run in international cricket continues as he scored a classy maiden half-century on Sunday (August 6) in IND vs WI 2nd T20I at Guyana. After shining for Mumbai Indians in the IPL, Tilak Varma is now making a name for himself in the international arena. The 21-year-old, who hammered two sixes off the first three balls of his debut match (Ind v WI 1st T20I), scored a remarkable half-century on a pitch where rest of the Indian batters were struggling to score runs. By virtue of his maiden T20I fifty, Varma became the 2nd youngest Indian cricketer to score a fifty in T20 Internationals, with the youngest being Rohit Sharma.

Meanwhile, a video has gone viral on social media in which Varma can be seen showing off some dancing moves to celebrate his maiden T20I fifty.

Using his experience in the IPL, Varma batted with maturity amidst regular fall of Indian wickets. When the star-studded top-order failed, the MI star showed his class and went on to score 51 runs off 41 balls. His innings and a steady partnership with captain Hardik Pandya (24 runs off 18 deliveries) helped team India manage to reach 151 runs in their quota of 20 overs.

Tilak Varma earned a maiden call up in India’s T20 team on the back of his remarkable form in domestic circuit and Indian Premier League (IPL). In IPL 2023, he scored 343 runs for Mumbai Indians.

Varma made his international debut in India vs West Indies 1st T20I, where he scored 39 runs off 22 balls in his debut innings with help of 2 fours and 3 sixes. In this way, Tilak has scored 90 runs in his first two T20 matches for India.

India is currently 2-0 down in five-match India vs West Indies T20I series. IND vs WI 3rd T20I will be played on Tuesday in Guyana.
