SuperGaming has announced the release of the Indus Battle Royale Beta, the next phase in bringing its Indo-Futuristic battle royale game Indus to the world. The Indus Battle Royale Beta is now available for Android devices via Google Play, following a limited closed beta event for iOS users that began in December.
Players can experience the complete battle royale experience on their own devices by dropping onto Virlok, Indus’ map.
The beta includes several new features tested and improved through previous Indus Community Playtests, the Indus Esports Invitational, and the aforementioned iOS closed beta event. The beta can be accessed with an Indus Beta Key, which will be in limited supply.
Additionally, a new trailer for the game has been released, showcasing the key differentiator that sets Indus apart from other battle royale games on the market. The trailer, titled “Cosmium Changes Everything,” highlights how players can win matches by capturing Cosmium, an in-game item that appears during the last few minutes of a game.
To get an Indus Beta Key, sign up on the official Indus Beta Key site, indusbeta.com, and join the waitlist. Keys are limited, so act fast. Players who participate in the beta will receive exclusive cosmetic items that will not be available at launch.
Indus is playable on smartphones priced at around $100 (approximately Rs. 8,000), making it accessible to players worldwide and opening up a large market for worldwide adoption.
The Indus Engine powers Indus, SuperGaming’s in-house custom tech stack, and currently runs at over 40 fps on low-end Android devices with 4GB of RAM. Visual details such as environments and shadows are dialled back as per internal testing. The developer says the latest Android flagships can run Indus at 60fps with every visual detail set to the maximum in internal tests.
