Chinese smartphone maker Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo recently launched its latest flagship smartphone lineup in China earlier this month. The iQoo 12series succeeded last year’s iQoo 11 lineup and includes two models — the iQoo 12 and the iQoo 12 Pro. Both smartphones come powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and are available in three colour options — Black, White and Red — in China.The company is now set to launch the vanilla iQoo 12 smartphone in India on December 12. Ahead of the phone’s India launch, the company is offering sneak peek sessions of the model in a few cities in India. The company took to social media platform X to announce the upcoming sneak peek sessions.

iQoo 12 Sneak Peek session: Dates, cities and more
Indian customers can experience the latest flagship iQoo smartphone in their hands for the first time in the coming days. To attend the iQoo 12 Sneak Peek Session users have to register themselves for the event.
The sessions will be held in multiple cities in different cities. The iQoo 12 Sneak Peek sessions will start in Bengaluru on November 26, which will continue in Mumbai on December 3 and end in Hyderabad on December 10. To register for these sessions, enthusiasts have to fill out a Google form, the link to which is included in the X post.
iQoo 12 India variant: Key specs
iQoo has already confirmed that the Indian variant of the smartphone will come powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform which will be backed by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Apart from this, the iQoo 12 will also feature Vivo’s self-developed SuperComputing Chip Q1. This chip is designed to optimize the phone’s performance while gaming to ensure smooth gameplay up to 144 Hz (at 1080P).

The Chinese variant of the smartphone has a 6.78-inch Flat AMOLED display and packs up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. For photography, the iQoo 12 houses a 50MP main sensor, a 64MP periscope telephoto unit and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The smartphone also sports a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. iQoo 12 packs a 5000mAh battery unit that supports up to 120W of fast charging.
