The company revealed the details in a post on X (formerly Twitter), sharing the poster. The poster for iQoo 12 shows the camera module, which is similar to the one shown in several leaked images.The teaser also features theBMW logo in the top right corner, which suggests that iQOO is likely to continue its collaboration with BMW M Motorsport.
iQoo 12 is set to launch in China on November 7. The series is said to have two models – iQoo 12 Pro and iQoo 12, though only the latter is expected to launch in India for now.
iQoo 12: What to expect
iQoo 12 is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s new top-of-the-line chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and according to the company, the smartphone will be the first one in India to launch with Qualcomm’s new chipset.
It is rumoured to have a 6.78-inch BOE OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, a refresh rate of 144Hz, a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, and a PWM dimming rate of 2,160Hz.
The smartphone is said to have a triple camera setup, expected to include a 50-megapixel primary OmniVision OV50H sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), another 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64-megapixel OV64B telephoto shooter capable of 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. The front camera is expected to have a 16-megapixel sensor.
The iQoo 12 may come with a 4,880mAh battery and support 120W wired fast charging. The smartphone is said to have an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It is also rumoured to support Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity options.
