Jofra Archer With Sussex In India For A 10-Day Camp
Notably, Sussex are in Bengaluru for a 10-day camp. During this time, England County side will also be participating in a couple of practice matches. Archer would be looking to make the most of his time here on his way to recovery and a comeback into international cricket as well as leagues such as the IPL.
In his overall IPL career so far, Archer has featured in 40 matches and picked 48 wickets at an average of 24.40 and an economy of 7.43 with a best of 3/15. Despite being aware that he would not be playing in IPL 2022, MI picked him but even in the subsequent season, he did not quite live up to the expectations in another injury-marred season in 2023, as he played 5 matches, picked 2 wickets, at an economy of 9.50.
