Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, also known for her presence on social media, maintains a deliberate veil of privacy over her personal life. At a recent event, the actress opened up about navigating the overwhelming attention her children, especially Taimur, receive from the paparazzi, highlighting the supportive role played by her husband, Saif Ali Khan.
Kareena Kapoor credits Saif Ali Khan’s role in navigating Taimur’s media scrutiny; says, “Let’s just take it in our stride and just walk with your head down”
In an interview with ABP News, Kareena candidly shared her approach on handling the media frenzy surrounding her son, Taimur. Kareena said, “I think the only way I could deal with the media attention on Taimur was to actually be chilled about it because if I were hyper about it – which maybe I was inside – or openly expressed what I was feeling, I feel somewhere, it would have affected Taimur.”
Kareena elaborated on the importance of maintaining composure in front of Taimur to shield him from unnecessary stress caused by media scrutiny. “If he (Taimur) was aware that something was upsetting me or I was affected by too many cameras around him, if I kept stressing over ‘Kya kar raha hai? Kyun photo le rahe?’ (What is he doing? Why are they taking pictures of Taimur?) or I told the photographer, ‘Photo mat lo!’ (Don’t take pictures)’, it would have left a lasting impact on him,” she explained.
Recalling Saif’s supportive stance, Kareena shared, “‘We can’t run away from this’, Saif told me. He believes that instead of trying to scare him further, let’s just take it in our stride and just walk with your head down outside the airport or wherever it is. After a certain age, Taimur will understand — which he does even now — that his parents are famous. He’s quite easy about it.”
On the film front, last year, Kareena Kapoor Khan ventured into the digital realm with the mystery film Jaane Jaan. Her upcoming project, Crew, promises to showcase her comedic flair as she embodies the role of a witty air hostess alongside co-stars Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan, Crew is slated for release on March 29, 2024, and the teaser hints at a delightful cinematic experience. Additionally, Kareena is set to feature in Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated cop universe film, Singham Again. Sharing the screen with an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff, Kareena’s involvement added to the excitement surrounding the project.
