After winning hearts in Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaa, Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in the role of a cop in her first collaboration with Hansal Mehta. Shot extensively in London and Europe, her next titled The Buckhingam Murders premiered at the film festival there and now it has made its way to the country and a screening was held during the ongoing Jio MAMI Film Festival in Mumbai. Ever since its premiere, the film has been receiving rave reviews and now added to the list of the reviewers is none other than Karisma Kapoor.

Karisma Kapoor reviews Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer The Buckingham Murders and here’s what she has to say!

Karisma Kapoor attended the special screening of The Buckingham Murders along with Kareena Kapoor Khan at the ongoing Jio MAMI Film festival and it seems that the Raja Hindustani actress was impressed with her sister’s performance in the film. Karisma, who looked gorgeous as she sashayed the red carpet in a beautiful monochrome white saree with black embellishments, took to Instagram to share her heartfelt review on the Hansal Mehta directorial, saying, “What a gripping and gut wrenching film, Fabulous performance by the sister who had me in tears and such excellent performances by every cast member.” She also added clap and heart emojis as she continued, “Loved it”. She concluded the note adding, “Congrats to the entire team #TheBuckinghamMurders” and also tagged the actress along with Hansal Mehta and the organizers.

The Buckingham Murders features Kareena Kapoor Khan as a grieving mother but also a British-Indian detective who is in charge of the investigation of 10-year-old’s brutal murder which happened in Buckingamshire. According to Mehta, the murder mystery is also expected to mark the first of the franchise. The film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival, where too it received a warm response. Along with Indian actors, the film will also feature some international artists and it is slated to release in theatres soon.
