Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team has landed at the Hyderabad airport ahead of the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023. The marquee event is set to commence at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5 with England taking on New Zealand in the tournament opener. Before the world event though, Pakistan have to play a couple of warm-up matches at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad which is also the venue which will host Pakistan’s campaign opener against the Netherlands on October 6.
