Ever since the makers announced the first collaboration of Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and South sensation Prabhas, Project K,  fans haven’t been able to keep calm. A section of moviegoers is eagerly waiting to see the two powerhouses of talent sharing the screen space. While fans have to wait for a little to witness their on-screen chemistry, the producer, Ashwini Dutt has shared some interesting information about the forthcoming film. He revealed that 70 per cent of the film has been completed and it’ll be high on fantasy and science-fiction.

“Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer Project K will leave fans stunned,” says producer Ashwini Dutt; calls it “a graphics-heavy film”

It all happened during his interview with a Telugu YouTube channel, Telugu zone. Talking about the film, he asserted, “This will be a graphics-heavy film. It’s been five months since we commenced work on the graphics and it’ll go on through the course of next year as well. We’ve completed about 70 per cent of the shoot so far.”

Explaining further, he added, “The film has fantasy and elements of science fiction. It’s about the modern-day avatar of Vishnu, but at the same time, it’ll be high on sentiment. We’ve also roped in four-five international stunt choreographers to oversee action sequences. Everything you see in the film will leave you stunned.”

Speaking of Project K, reportedly, it will be released in two parts. The first part will establish the sci-fi world and the conflicts of the magnum era and the makers are shooting both parts in one go. It is currently in the post-production stage and the makers are working on the VFX parts. The first glimpse of Deepika, Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan was released on their respective birthdays.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, the makers unveiled an intriguing poster to announce the release date of the film. Directed by Nag Ashwin, it is slated to release on January 12, 2024.
