Realme has expanded its C-series lineup with the launch of a new entry-level smartphone in India. Dubbed Realme C55, the smartphone is aimed at offering a value-for-money proposition with key highlights being the 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support, 64MP primary camera and iPhone 14 Pro-like Dynamic Island called Mini Capsule.
Realme C55: Price and availability
Realme has launched the smartphone in three variants. The base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 10,999, while the 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB variants are priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively. Pre-order the handset will start on March 21 and is set to end on March 27. Also, as a part of the pre-orders, the company is offering a pre-order discount of flat Rs 500 and an additional bank offer of up to Rs 1,000.

Realme C55 is set to go on sale starting March 28 via Realme’s official website and Flipkart.

Realme C55 features a 6.72-inch display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The key highlight of the phone is the new Mini Capsule which is an adaptation of iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island which shows important notifications like charging details, data usages notification, step notification and more.
The handset is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 chipset and it is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone also comes with a microSD card slot that allows users to expand the storage capacity when required.
In terms of camera, the handset is equipped with a 64MP camera and an 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery and supports 33W SuperVOOC charging. Oppo claims that the phone reaches 50% charge in just 29 minutes.
Realme C55 comes with the latest Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 operating system.
