Notable tipster Kacper Skrzypek suggests that Poco X5 5G, which is yet to be launched, shares ROM, which is codenamed “moonstone,” with the global variant of Redmi Note 12. However, the Poco X5 Pro 5G will run on the Snapdragon 695 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, the chipset that powers the Redmi Note 12 5G. Since both the chipsets are from Qualcomm, it could be possible that Xiaomi plans to launch the Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition, which comes with the Snapdragon 695 chipset as the Poco X5 5G, tips Kacper.
Somebody could be confused, so let me make it clear:#RedmiK60 = #POCOF5Pro#RedmiNote12Speed = #POCOX5Pro5G… https://t.co/1gXbtNO7dD

In a tweet, Kacper reiterates that Redmi Note 12 Speed will launch as Poco X5 Pro 5G. Meanwhile, the Redmi K60 would arrive as Poco F5 Pro 5G, the sub-brand’s flagship smartphone.
Earlier this year, Poco launched the Redmi K40S as the Poco F4 in India and other markets outside of China. Meanwhile, the Poco X4 Pro 5G was a rebrand of the Redmi Note Pro 5G; however, the two had some design differences.
So far, Poco has not said anything about launching the two smartphones. But we can expect both smartphones – Poco F5 Pro 5G and Poco X5 Pro 5G – in the coming few months.
Poco F5 Pro 5G, X5 Pro 5G expected specifications
Redmi K60, aka the Poco F5 Pro 5G, comes with a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ support, and a peak brightness of 1400 nits. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 RAM. The smartphone offers a 64MP triple camera setup.
The Note 12 Speed of Redmi or alleged Poco X5 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. The Snapdragon 695 chipset powers the smartphone. It features a 108MP triple camera setup.
