Remi Lucidi, a French adventurer known for his death-defying stunts, tragically lost his life in Hong Kong while attempting a daring feat. The incident occurred at the Tregunter Tower complex, a towering 68-story residential building, the South China Morning Post reported.

Lucidi, who was popularly recognized online as Remi Enigma, had set out to climb the towering structure when the unfortunate accident occurred, resulting in his untimely demise. He was just 30 years old.
According to Hong Kong authorities, Lucidi arrived at the building around 6pm, claiming to be visiting a friend residing on the 40th floor. However, suspicions arose when the alleged friend confirmed that he did not know Lucidi. Despite a security officer’s attempt to detain him, Lucidi managed to gain access to an elevator and continued his ascent.

Before the authorities could respond, Lucidi tragically fell from the Tregunter Path building and was pronounced dead on-site. During their investigation, the police discovered his sports camera, which held a collection of videos showcasing his adventures in extreme sports.
Merely five days prior to the unfortunate incident, a post appeared on the Frenchman’s Instagram account. The caption read “Hong Kong” and featured a photo taken from Times Square in Causeway Bay. In the aftermath of the tragedy, numerous social media users left heartfelt “rest in peace” messages in the comments section of that post.
Further exploration of Lucidi’s online presence revealed other photos showcasing his daring escapades. These included images of him climbing and standing atop high-rise scaffolding and buildings in various locations like Dubai, Bulgaria, and France throughout the past year.
A particularly daring video captured last October depicted him ascending France’s tallest chimney and fearlessly walking along the edge of the towering 300-meter structure without any safety harness, showcasing his incredible nerve and audacity.
