Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdesh penned a heartfelt note for the India cricketer on their wedding anniversary on Wednesday, December 13. Ritika took to social media to share her delight over having found a ‘friend’ in the India cricketer.

Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdesh tied the knot in 2015 and their daughter Samiara is all set to turn 5 on December 30. The India captain has often spoken about the impact that his family has had on his career, acknowledging the incredible support from his wife.

“To the boy who changed my life from the day he walked into it ?? Thank you for being my best friend, my comedian, my favourite human and my home. Life with you is nothing short of magical. Love you @rohitsharma45,” Ritika Sajdeh wrote, sharing a few throwback photos.

Rohit and Ritika celebrate their wedding anniversary, two days after Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s anniversary. Kohli and Anushka also shared messages for each other on their special day.

Rohit Sharma was on a vacation with his wife and daughter after the World Cup 2023 at home. The India captain decided to stay away from the spotlight and seek comfort in his close ones after the disappointment of losing the big final.

Rohit Sharma took an extended break from competitive cricket after the World Cup final. He was not part of the 5-match T20I series between India and Australia at home and missed the ongoing white-ball leg of the South Africa tour.

Rohit Sharma will return to competitive action in the 2-Test series against South Africa, starting December 26.

Earlier in the day, Mumbai Indians shared a video of Rohit Sharma opening up about his World Cup Final heartbreak and shed light on how his family helped him overcome the helpless feeling.

“I had no idea how to come back from this. I had no clue what to do. My family and friends kept me going, and kept things pretty light around me, which was quite helpful. It was not easy to digest, but life moves on and you have to move on. Honestly, it was tough and it was not so easy to move on,” Rohit said.
