Samsung launched its latest Galaxy S24 series smartphones on January 17 and it went on pre-orders in India starting January 18. Now, Samsung claims that the Galaxy S24 series, that includes the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra, has registered a pre-booking of over 250,000 in just three days. According to the company, the same pre-booking number was achieved by the Galaxy S23 series in three weeks.
Samsung’s Senior Vice President, MX Business, Raju Pullan has thanked Indian customers for the overwhelming response to the Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series features Galaxy AI
Samsung’s new flagship smartphones — Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra — come with Galaxy AI features. This includes features such as Live Translate, Interpreter, Chat Assist, Note Assist and Transcript Assist. Other than these, the Galaxy AI also includes features like generative AI support in Samsung Keyboard, Android Auto and more.
In terms of hardware changes, the Galaxy S24 series features a flagship chipset paired with improved camera and overall performance.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra also comes with a full flat screen with 2500-nits of brightness and slimmer bezels on all sides. Moreover, the phone also features a new Quad Tele System and a new 50MP 5X telephoto sensor that allows for a versatile zoom-in capacity of the phone.
Samsung has also updated the Nightography capabilities of the Galaxy S24 series. Galaxy S24 Ultra now features a largerpixel zide with 60% bigger pixel size that enables brighter and detailed output.
Other than this, Samsung has also integrated generative AI within the Gallery app that allows users to make simple edits like erase, re-compose, and remaster the images.
Galaxy S24 is backed by a 4000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, Galaxy S24+ features a 4900mAh battery with 45W fast charging and Galaxy S24 Ultra comes with a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
