In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Bhushan Kumar, the chairman and managing director of T-Series, spoke about the sequels and projects being developed by the his production company. Amidst the anticipation surrounding Yaariyan 2, set to hit screens on October 20, Bhushan Kumar revealed a spectacular lineup of sequels and fresh cinematic endeavours.

Among the much-anticipated sequels in the works, Bhushan Kumar confirmed the development of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Aashiquii 3, Dhamaal 4, Metro In Dino, De De Pyaar De 2, Raid 2, and more. This exciting roster of follow-ups promises to continue the stories and characters that viewers have grown to love, expanding on the success of their predecessors. He said, “We can see that it’s happening. It is happening in every franchise film. It happened with Oh My God, though it was a good film. It happened in Dream Girl which was a good out and out comedy film. These 2 are the best examples. Gadar was huge. So, all the franchises are working.”
Bhushan Kumar’s ambition extended beyond film sequels, as he revealed T-Series’ involvement in a musical project currently in development. Moreover, fans can anticipate a biopic on the legendary choreographer Saroj Khan, helmed by the talented director Hansal Mehta.
However, the spotlight remains on the highly anticipated Animal, which is currently in post-production and scheduled for release in December of this year. Ranbir Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga are currently actively involved in the post-production process of the film.
