Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has finally been released and both audiences and critics are praising the romantic and family entertainer. The film marks Karan Johar’s 25^th year as a filmmaker and he returns to direction after seven years since Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. With the positive reviews pouring in for the film from all corners and it collecting Rs. 11.10 crore on the opening day, Karan’s ‘student’ Sidharth Malhotra took to Instagram to praise the film.

Sidharth Malhotra, who made his debut in Karan Johar’s Student of The Year, called the film a “full-on family entertainer”. Taking to Instagram stories, he wrote, “From Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. It’s been a glorious 25 years of watching you create magic. Wishing you 25 more years of storytelling that moves us, entertain us, makes us laugh and cry. #RRKPK is a full-on family entertainer, go watch it guys!”

The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhary and Churni Ganguly.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra will next star in Dharma Productions’ Yodha, set to release on December 13 in theatres.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is yet to announce his next projects but he is reportedly starring in the third instalment of Don franchise, which will be a reboot. He has also signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra alongside Alia Bhatt. Both projects are yet to be announced.

Alia Bhatt will make her Hollywood debut with Heart Of Stone. She has also signed YRF’s next spy movie and Vasan Bala’s next.
