BANGKOK: Thai opposition leader Pita Limjaroenrat said Monday he was ready to be prime minister after a stunning election result that left his upstart progressive party as the biggest in parliament.
He told reporters at his Move Forward Party headquarters that he would seek to build a coalition with five other parties including Pheu Thai, which was on course to finish second.
