In February this year, Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur delighted their fans as the Malang duo collaborated once again for a web show, The Night Manager. For the unversed, The Night Manager is a Hindi adaptation of a British television series of the same name. Recently, the makers announced the release date of its second part, which will consist of four episodes. Amid the buzz, creator Sandeep Modi has hinted at a possible crossover.

The Night Manager director Sandeep Modi drops hint at CROSSOVER; says, “We’re working on something”

During an interaction with News18, Sandeep opened up about their plans of bringing characters from both versions of the series. He informed, “It absolutely is. We’re working on something and once that happens, maybe a crossover can come alive soon. We’re wishing for the same.”

As the conversation progressed further, the filmmaker was asked to comment on the growing demand for an Indian face cross-pollinating in the West. In his response, Sandeep asserted, “The boundaries of India with the rest of the world have disappeared. Others have done it too. It’s probably the right time to do a crossover of The Night Manager.”

Later, he went on to address the audience anticipating a sequel for The Night Manager. He said, “I’ve a running joke with the producers since they’re the same [for both versions]. I tell them that we adapted the first part from you and maybe we’ll write the second season first and they can adapt it for the rest of the world from us.”

Coming back to the second part of the first season of The Night Manager, it will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from June 30 onwards. Besides Anil and Aditya, it features Sobhita Dhulipala in the lead along with Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, and Saswata Chatterjee in pivotal roles.
