For Kolkata Knight Riders (12 points from 13 IPL matches) to make it to the Playoffs, they need some other results in their favour. Same goes for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as after shocking loss to KKR in their final league stage home match at Chepauk, the 4-time IPL winners CSK (15 points) now depend on other results and see if they manage to finish in the top two in IPL 2023 Points Table by the end of league stage matches.
Earlier on Sunday, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) crushed Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 112 runs. By virtue of this massive win over last year’s runners-up, RCB moved to fifth position in IPL 2023 Points Table with 12 points. The big margin win over RR also helped RCB improve their Net Run Rate (NRR). Rajasthan Royals (RR) dropped to 6th spot and their chances of qualifying from IPL 2023 playoffs has suffered a massive setback.
Defending champions Gujarat Titans are top side in IPL 2023 Points Table at present with 16 points. GT will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday.
