‘Master Blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar is at the top in the list of players with the most runs in Test matches for India, with 15,921 Test runs to his name, also making him the highest run scorer in Test cricket history. India head coach Rahul Dravid is the second highest run-scorer in Test cricket for India with 13,265 Test runs.
Cricketer-turned-commentator Sunil Gavaskar is at number three in this list with 10,122 runs in his Test career, followed by VVS Laxman (8781 Test runs) at number four. Virat Kohli (8504 runs and counting) has become the fifth highest run scorer in Test matches for India. The next target for Kohli would be Laxman’s Test-runs tally of 8,781 runs.
