The Men in Blue have started their World Cup 2023 campaign as they are taking on Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. After winning the toss, Pat Cummins asked the Indians to bowl first on a slow pitch in Chennai. Rohit Sharma’s blokes came up with a solid start as they gave an early blow to Australia.
India’s premium pacer Jasprit Bumrah got rid of Mitchell Marsh in his second over of the game. Bumrah’s sharp outswinger snared Marsh who is one of the attacking batters from the lot. The right-handed batter got an outside edge and the ball carried towards the slip where Virat Kohli was stationed. The former India skipper ended up taking a sensational catch and ensured India’s first breakthrough. The video of the same has been doing rounds where Kohli was spotted diving towards his left side to finish the catch.
