Vivo X Fold3 Pro: Specifications, features, and more (rumoured)
The X Fold3 Pro is rumoured to feature an 8.03-inch 2K+ (2480 x 2200 pixels) foldable AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support.When folded, the device will have a 6.53-inch FHD+ (2748 x 1172 pixels) AMOLED outer display, also with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the X Fold3 Pro is expected to pack the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm process and paired with the Adreno 750 GPU. This will be complemented by 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. There could also be other storage variants having lesser RAM and storage capacities.
The camera setup on the X Fold3 Pro is said to consist of a 50MP primary camera featuring an OV50H sensor, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Zeiss T* coating, and Vivo’s in-house V3 imaging chip. Accompanying the main camera could be a 50MP ultra-wide and a 64MP 3x periscope telephoto camera with an OV64B sensor. For selfies and video calls, the X Fold3 Pro will feature 32MP cameras on both the inner and outer displays.
The X Fold3 Pro is said to come with a 5,800mAh battery, which is significantly larger than the 4,800mAh battery found in its predecessor, the X Fold2. The battery will support 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The X Fold3 Pro is expected to ship with vivo’s OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 and will include dual SIM support, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on both displays, and an infrared sensor. Connectivity options will include 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS (L1 + L5 Dual band), NFC, and USB Type-C.
Other notable features include USB Type-C Audio, stereo speakers, and water and dust resistance, although the specific IP rating is yet to be revealed.
Vivo X Fold3: Price, availability (rumoured)
According to reports, the vivo X Fold3 Pro is expected to be introduced as early as March 2023 in China, alongside the vivo Pad 3 and Pad 3 Pro tablets. As of now, there is no word on the pricing of X Fold3 Pro.
