Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched three new plans for its users. The latest plans include a Rs 17 and a Rs 57 data plan while the Rs 1,999 plan is an unlimited plan for prepaid users. These prepaid plans come days after the telecom company reduced the validity of two of its entry-level plans. The latest plans have also been listed on the telco’s official website. Here are all the details about the plans:
Vi’s new data plans: Rs 17 and Rs 57
The Vi Rs 17 plan offers unlimited data and has a validity of 24 hours. However, this plan does not offer calling or outgoing SMS benefits. Likewise, the Rs 57 plan also offers unlimited data for seven days but doesn’t offer calling or SMS benefits.
Vi’s new unlimited plan
The Rs 1,999 prepaid plan offers unlimited calls, 1.5GB data per day, 100 SMS per day and has a validity of 250 days. This new plan is positioned above the telcos’ Rs 1,799 prepaid plan which offers unlimited calls, 24GB data, and a total of 3600 SMS. The Rs 1,7999 plan is valid for 365 days and also offers additional benefits to access Vi Movies & TV Basic.

Vi reduces validity of two plans
Latest reports suggest that Vi has recently reduced the validity of two of its prepaid plans — Rs 99 and Rs 128 plans. Earlier, the Rs 99 plan used to offer a validity of 28 days which has now been reduced to 15 days. However, the other benefits offered by the plan remain the same. This plan offers 200MB of data and talktime worth Rs 99, but it doesn’t offer any SMS benefits.
Meanwhile, the Rs 128 prepaid plan previously offered a 28 days validity. This plan is now offering 18 days of validity. Just like the Rs 99 plan, Vi has not changed the other benefits of this plan as well. The Rs 128 plan includes 10 local on-net night minutes. With this plan, users have to pay 2.5 paise per second for calls.
