Vodafone-Idea is working hard to get more users to switch from other telecom service providers to their network by offering attractive plans, offers and benefits like data rollover, free data at night and more. But, that’s one side, the telco is also trying to make it easier for its prepaid customers to switch to postpaid.
TelecomTalk has reported that the company has introduced a new P2P conversion. This lets users port to postpaid on the same SIM just using an OTP verification. This means, Vodafone-Idea prepaid users now have the option to switch to postpaid without requiring a new SIM and a lengthy process or verification.
Vi’s P2P conversion: What is it
Now, the telecom service provider has been offering its customers the option to move from prepaid to postpaid and vice versa within their network. Vi is also offering the same, but without requiring a new SIM card and a new documentation process. Meaning, users can simply generate an OTP and use it to verify their identity.
According to the report, users will have to register a request at Vi Store and then they’ll receive a new SMS with a unique code and OTP. That’s it once users have all this, they can move from prepaid to postpaid, given their KYC details are sufficient with the telecom service provider.
Vi Migration plans
Vi is also offering customers migrating from prepaid to postpaid a choice of plans. Currently, the website has listed two plans — Vi Max 401 and Vi Max 501.
Vi Max 401 comes with unlimited calling, 3000 SMS and 50GB data with up to 200GB rollover. Also, users will get unlimited between 12 am to 6 am.

The Vi Max 501 offers unlimited calling, 3000SMS and 90GB data. Plus, customers will also get 1-year Disney+ Hotstar subscription, 1 SonyLiv, 6-month Amazon Prime and Sun Nxt.
