The Texas Super Kings squad started assembling in the US ahead of their opening match of the inaugural Major League Cricket (MLC) season on July 13 against Los Angeles Knight Riders.
Led by former Chennai Super Kings players Faf du Plessis, the Texas squad also includes familiar names like Ambati Rayudu, Devon Conway, Mitchell Santner and Dwayne Bravo (all from CSK), besides David Miller, Daniel Sams and Gerald Coetzee.
It’s a kind of mini CSK reunion in the US, where fans will witness 18 days of action spread across 19 matches, culminating with the final on July 30. The Texas Super Kings tweeted a video on their official handle, showing players and officials setting in and collecting their kits as they arrive for the tournament.
“Beginning of a new camaraderie in Texas!” the caption in the post read.
