NEW DELHI: Ahead of the upcoming clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Delhi Capitals (DC) opener David Warner relished a sports-filled day on the field with his daughter.
With DC set to face off against LSG at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium on Friday, the teams’ standings add an extra layer of anticipation to the encounter.
While LSG hold the third position with three wins, a loss, and a total of six points, DC find themselves in dire need of a victory.Sitting at the bottom of the table, DC have managed to secure just one win in five matches, intensifying the importance of the upcoming fixture.

DC shared a video of Warner playing some football with his daughter on social media platform ‘X’. His daughter also had fun doing some catching and batting.
“The most entertaining father-daughter duo on & off the field #YehHaiNayiDilli #IPL2024,” posted DC.

In IPL 2024, across five matches played so far, Warner has showcased his batting prowess by amassing 158 runs at an impressive average of 31.60 and a strike rate exceeding 142.
He has also notched up a well-deserved half-century, with his highest score being 52. Warner’s consistent performances have solidified his position as the 12th-highest run-scorer in IPL history.
With a remarkable IPL career spanning 181 matches, Warner has accumulated a staggering total of 6,555 runs at an outstanding average of 41.22, accompanied by a formidable strike rate of over 139.97.
His illustrious journey in the IPL includes four centuries and 62 half-centuries, with his highest individual score standing at an impressive 126 runs.
Warner’s remarkable achievements also position him as the third-highest run-getter in IPL history and the leading overseas run-scorer in the tournament’s history.
