WhatsApp is working on various new features for a better user experience. Now a new report has surfaced online revealing a new privacy feature coming to WhatsApp. According to an online report WhatsApp is working on an email verification feature.
As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is currently working on a new security feature to protect your account using an email address so that it can be used to verify your account. The feature is in the testing phase and it is available for Android beta testers and it can be accessed in version number 2.23.18.19.
The report adds that WhatsApp will provide users with an additional way to access their WhatsApp account once their email address is confirmed. It’s very important to note that your email address will never be visible to your contacts as a privacy measure. Although there are limited details available regarding how this feature will be used, it is expected to be very useful in the future.
The email verification feature is under development and it will be available in a future update of the app.
WhatsApp allows users to create groups without naming them
WhatsApp has unveiled a fresh feature that enables users to form groups within the instant messaging app without the initial necessity of naming them. In the existing setup, users are obligated to designate a name before participants can initiate conversations within a group.
This functionality proves especially beneficial in situations where users aim to swiftly establish a group. It’s important to highlight that unnamed groups, with a maximum capacity of six participants, will now be automatically given a name based on the composition of group members.
