The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the ‘normal’ life of people around the world. As things started to settle in 2022 with people recuperating from the damages, 2023 was the year of extreme job cuts, especially in the tech industry globally. As people step into 2024, they hope for a year without “craziness” and X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk has a prediction.
Reacting to a follower who posted on X that we can just have a normal year in 2024 after “4 years of craziness”, the world’s richest man said, “2024 is gonna be even more crazy is my prediction”.

Musk, who welcomed the New Year by saying “LFG (let’s freaking go) 2024” in a post on X, may have hinted at the US presidential election to be the reason for this.
One of his followers commented: “With this presidential election, normal is the last thing 2024 will be”, while another posted: “It will be exciting because of the election! Trump 2024”.
Musk not voting for Biden
Musk in November said he can’t envision himself voting for President Joe Biden in the 2024 election. He had previously criticised Biden for snubbing Tesla and praising General Motors as the leader in the electric car revolution.
He also blamed the Democrats for making X’s financial situation worse.
“I’m not saying I’d vote for Trump. This is definitely a difficult choice here,” he said. Musk has praised Indian-origin Vivek Ramaswamy as a “promising candidate” for the 2024 US presidential election.
The year 2024 will be historic as multiple democracies will witness a major test. There will be elections in approximately 70 countries, including the US, India, Mexico and South Africa. More than 3.7 billion voters will head to the polls and the results may have global impact and ramifications.
Musk then signed off 2023 with saying “LFG 2024”.
