How to remove people from Circles
- Log in to X
- Go to the account that is in your Circles and unfollow them.
- They will no longer be in your Circle. They can no longer see your past Circle Posts.
- Follow them again, if you wish, they will not be added to your Circle
Twitter Circles — that’s what it was called when launched — is a feature that allows users to create a group of up to 150 people and share tweets with that group only. Tweets shared with a Twitter Circle will appear with a green badge underneath them and can only be seen by the people in the circle. They cannot be retweeted or shared outside of the circle, and all replies to these tweets are private, even if the Twitter account is public.
Twitter Circles was meant to ensure that users could have more personal conversations with a select group of people, such as close friends, family, or colleagues. It can also be used to share more sensitive content that you don’t want to share with the world.
X hasn’t given any official reason on why it has decided to do away with Circles.
